Gretchen Horn joins Welty Energy with more than 3 decades of experience managing large substation and electric transmission line projects. At Welty Energy, she will serve as Portfolio Manager, leading the teams and projects in Maryland and West Virginia.
Gretchen will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of transmission line and substation projects from initial project planning and continuing through the energization.
Michael Horn has over 40 years of experience in the electric utility industry as a civil engineer, transmission line engineer, project manager, and engineering director.
Mike’s experience is reflected in extensive engineering and design management expertise. Mike has managed numerous electric transmission line projects and substation site development projects in which he prepared site development plans, grading plans, stormwater management plans, and erosion and sediment control plans.
